Meaning of Prepositional Verbs
- apologize to - v. to say sorry to someone because you think that you have done something wrong to him/her.
- admire for - v. to appreciate/praise somebody/something
- aim at - v. focus on
- agree on - v. to consent with somebody / something
- grow up - v. to rise / to get older / to spend time
- separate from - v. to exclude oneself from something / someone
- acquaint with - v. to be familiar with somebody
- believe in - v. to have faith / trust in something
- adopt to - v. change a large organization can be show to adopt or to change
- apply for - v. o send our applcation for a particular position
- arrive at - v. to come / reach somewhere
- comment on - v. if you comment on something, ou give your opinion about it or you give an explanation for it.
